Art Deco English chrome & bakelite lidded ice bucket

We were not quite sure whether this is an ice bucket, tea caddy or biscuit barrel but have decided it is an ice bucket. The ribbed chrome barrel has a chrome ribbed lid with a bakelite finial. There is a removable internal aluminium canister and this was the deciding factor as to its intended use. However if we are wrong, then use it for what you want - it is still useful and stylish. The base is signed "Best Chromium Plate Made in England".
